The Revenue Department administers the City's Revenue Ordinances for the collection of taxes and license fees for professions doing business within the city limits and police jurisdiction of Northport. This department provides complete, accurate and timely information and service to taxpayers.  The Revenue Department is responsible for all facets of managing business licenses as well as sales and use tax collections within the city limits and police jurisdiction.

Sales, Use, Rental, Lodging Tax

City of Northport taxes may be filed online on My Alabama Taxes. Beginning October 1, 2021, you MUST file your sales, use, lodging, and rental taxes on MAT. No paper forms will be accepted after September 30, 2021. Click the links below for assistance.
